is shattered by a pod of giant humpback whales, breaching
high into the air, then crashing back against the sea. While

apparently dancing across the dark sky, remember - This is
Alaska . A Lifetime adventure. Choose from wildlife viewing,
sea kayaking and guided glacier hikes. Those who visit , can't
help marveling at the exotic wildlife, magnificent mountains,
glacier-carved valleys and steep, rocky coastline Alaska has
to offer.

Anchorage: The largest city in Alaska with lots to
see wildlife viewing, glaciers, mountains, northern lights,
recreation and adventure, as well as the urban pleasures
of fine dining, arts, cultural attractions and more. Experience
the Anchorage culture. Explore Alaska 's unique heritage
and discover the beauty of "The Last Frontier." Anchorage

met Russian and Native culture, where a tent city in the

where folks can still pan for gold and learn about Alaska
's pioneers. For a great introduction to native Alaskan
culture, visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center . Opened

. Learn about the Northern Lights, oil exploration, bears,
and other local features at the Imaginarium. This award-winning,
hands-on science center is great for kids and adults alike.
Talkeetna: The town of Talkeetna is located approximately
115 road miles north of Anchorage, about 14 miles off the
Parks Highway at the end of the Talkeetna Spur Road. The
town is also the main staging area for climbers waiting
to start their Mt. McKinley ascents, and the Talkeetna area
is probably the best location on the highway or rail system
to view "the Mountain". The area also offers visitors the
chance to experience some true Alaskan small-town flavor,
yet offers easy access and a number of nice lodging choices.
Denali: Without doubt, the main attraction in Denali
is Denali National Park - in fact, it ranks as Alaska's
most popular destination - A home to North America's highest
mountain, Mt. McKinley, towering over 20,300 feet tall,
The 6 million acre of pure wilderness will gives you best
opportunities to see Alaska's wildlife such as grizzly bear,
moose, wolves, Dall sheep, caribou. A Tundra Wilderness
Tour is an excellent way to see the Park and the towering
Mt. Mckinley . You could also Go white-water rafting, an
exciting adventure and a great way to see the park from
a different perspective.
Fairbanks is located in the heart of interior Alaska
370 road miles north of Anchorage , about eight hours by
car. Fairbanks is Alaska 's second largest city with over
80,000 residents in the greater Fairbanks area. Located
near the confluence of the Tanana and Chena Rivers , the
town sits just 200 miles south of Artic Circle . It was
originally founded in the early 1900's as a trading post
serving stern-wheeler riverboats and early gold prospectors.
The town still plays a vital supply role in Alaska due to
its proximity to the Arctic region and North Slope oil fields.
Here you can pan for gold, take a leisurely cruise down
the Chena River or take off on an amazing Arctic Circle
Flightseeing Tour or visit the Inupiat Eskimo village of
Barrow .
