Day 1: Addis Ababa Arba Minch
Upon arrival ; be met and assisted by
our representatives for the transfer to the hotel. Arbaminch literally
means "forty springs", the name it got from its famous forty local
springs, and is located 515 Km from Addis Ababa, the capital city.

Day 2: Jinka
After breakfast, we will drive about
275 Km asphalted road to Jinka. En route we will stop in Konso to pay
a visit to the third generation Konso king and the Konso village, also
known as Kantas. Konso is best known for its natural landscapes, terraces
and wooden statues, also known as Waka. After lunch at Kanta lodge,
we will continue driving to Jinka past the famous natural mud towers
named by locals "Konso New York" because they resemble sky-scrapers.
Overnight stay in Jinka Resort or similar.
Day 3: Jinka - Mursi - Jinka
In the morning we will drive to visit
the Mursi tribes past Mago National Park (30 Km from Jinka). While
you are driving through the park, you may get a chance to see many
Guenter's dik-dik and a few olive Baboons, Guereza (black and white
Columbus monkeys), an occasional greater or lesser kudu and Defassa
waterbuck. We shall proceeding to Mursi village, the most popular people
in Omo valley; you will like and appreciate the culture and custom
of Mursi people. The Mursi women are best known for their giant lip
plate which signals that they have reached maturity and are ready to
get married. You will also learn more about the Mursi men who are famous
for their stick fighting ceremony known as Donga.After the visit we
will drive back to Jinka.

Day 4: Jinka - Turmi
After breakfast we will drive to Turmi
(117 kms from Jinka) via Key Afer and Dimeka. If the day is Market
day (Thursday in Key-Afer or Saturday in Dimeka) we will see the colorful
markets where different tribes such as the Tsemai, Benna, Hammer, Karo
and Ari come together. The Hamer tribes are famous for their body decoration
and women's unique hair style. We may also be able to see "Bull jumping",
a traditional Hamer coming -of-age ceremony, if there is one. In the
evening we can see the traditional night dancing, known as Evangadi

Day 5: Turmi - Omorate - Turmi
This morning we will drive to Omorate
where Dassenech (Galeb) tribes live. They are inhabitant of both side
of lower course of Omo River. We will cross the river by small boat
and visit their village. The Dassenech are also known for their body
decoration and scaring. Drive back to Turmi, en route visit one of
the Hamer tribes.

Day 6: Arba Minch
Early in the morning we will start driving
back to Arbaminch 276 km (65% asphalt and 35% Paved and graveled road)
from Turmi. We will be driving to Konso past the famous natural mud
towers named by locals "Konso New York" because they resemble sky-scrapers.
We will stop in Konso to pay a visit to the third generation Konso
king and the Konso village, also known as Kantas. Konso is best known

Day 7: Hawassa
After early breakfast in Arbaminch, we
will drive to Hawassa (276 Km asphalt road). Hawassa is a city on the
shore of Lake Hawassa in the Great Rift Valley 275 km from Addis Ababa.
The city is known for the tourist attractions like Lake Hawassa, 'Amora
Gedel', Tabor Hill and magnificent international standard luxury Resorts
and accommodations. In the afternoon you will be at leisure to enjoy
the city

Day 8: Hawassa -Addis Ababa
In the morning, en route to Addis Ababa,
the capital city of Ethiopia 275 Kms from Hawassa, we will drive past
the Great Rift Valley Lakes of Langano, Abyata, Shalla and Lake Zway
to Debre-Zeit where we will have lunch at the beautiful Kuriftu Resort
and Spa. Late afternoon you will arrive in Addis Ababa (45 km driving).
Overnight stay in Addis Ababa.
Day 9: Debre-Zeit
In the morning, we will drive 230 Km
asphalt road to Debre-Zeit, the city of five crater exotic lakes. On
the way to Debre-Zeit we will visit the Great Rift Valley Lakes: Langano,
Abyata, Shalla and Lake Zway. We will arrive in Debre-Zeit around late
afternoon and visit the carter lakes within 5 km radius Hora, Bishoftu,
Babogaya and Kuriftu with varieties of bird life. Overnight stay in
Debre-Zeit Kuriftu Resort & Spa.
Day 10: Addis Ababa
After breakfast we will drive 45 km asphalt
road and check-in to hotel. In the morning we will be visiting the
National Museum (archeological and ethnological) which houses the oldest
humid fossil (Lucy). We will continue our visit to the magnificent
Holy trinity Cathedral church which was built to commemorate of Ethiopian
liberation from Italian occupation a short driving distance from the
museum. After lunch, we will be heading north to Mt. Entoto to see
the beautiful view of the whole city from top of a mountain. We may
want to enjoy the night-life of Addis this evening.

Day 11: Departure

Today we will have an enjoyable final
day, including shopping at the largest open market in Africa the
Merkato, visiting the headquarters of the African Union (AU) and the
Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and more tour of the capital city.
In the evening, after a farewell dinner at one of the Ethiopian traditional
restaurants; evening transfer to the airport for flight back home.
