Day Wise Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Yangon Arrival

On arrival at Yangon International Airport, be welcomed by an English-speaking guide and then transferred to the hotel for check in. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Yangon

Breakfast at hotel.  Start to explore the city tour, first visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, it is a huge reclining Buddha 217 feet long and is one of the largest in Myanmar. Enjoy the photo stop at the Karaweik Royal Barge, is a concrete reproduction of a royal barge, sitting at the eastern edge of the lake.  

Next, visit the famous Bogyoke Market (Scott Market), with hundreds of shops for food, clothing, crafts, and precious stones. Head out to the heart of the city center, a mix of pagodas, monuments and colonial buildings walking expeditions through Yangon's buildings, some of which are on the Yangon City Heritage List. This is the perfect way to learn Yangon’s vibrant street life with lots of street market stalls including snacks, food and fruits. There will be a chance to taste local food along the way.

In the evening, visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. Sheathed in gold, the magnificent monument is believed to be 2,600 years old and it's one of Yangon’s premier attractions and the pagoda’s spire soars a massive 326 feet into the air. This stunning stupa attracts pilgrims from all over the world. Transfer to the hotel and overnight at hotel.

Day 3 Yangon – Bago – Yangon

After breakfast at the hotel, your Bago City Tour will begin aboard an air conditioned motor coach.

Drive to Bago to visit over the thousand years old, Shwemawdaw Pagoda, originally built around the 10th century by the Mon and often referred as a Golden God Temple.

Another stop over to Shwe Tha Lyaung Pagoda (Reclining Buddhist image) which is among one of the country’s most impressive image and visit Kyaikpun Pagoda with four 30 meters high Buddha figures seated back to back which is used to be a weapon as a lighthouse at the time of Mon Kingdom secretly covered with pagoda images.

Proceed to Yangon, on the way visit a somber place, the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery near Htauk Kyant, the last resting place of over 6300 Allied soldiers during WW2. It is one of the largest war cemeteries in Myanmar and shows grandness, stillness and making everyone reminisce the atrocity of war. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Yangon.

Day 4 Yangon Departure

Morning breakfast at the hotel.  Free and leisure at the hotel. Transfer you to the Yangon International Airport to check in for your departing flight.
