Day 01: Agartala Arrive at Agartala airport, Tripura. Meet and assistance at the Airport. Later transfer and check into the hotel. Later visit Ujjayanta Palace. Over night at the hotel.Day 02: Agartala Breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for sight seeing in & around Agartala including excursion to Neermahal. Over night at the hotel.Day 03: Agartala-Aizwal (333kms/10hrs) Breakfast at the hotel. Later check out and drive to Aizwal, the capital of Mizoram. Over night at the hotel.Day 04: Aizwal Breakfast at the hotel. Later full day sightseeing at Aizwal covering Barabazar, state museum, handicraft centre etc. Over night at the hotel.Day 05: Aizwal-Shillong (430 km/10-12 hrs) Breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. On arrival, check into the hotel. Over night at the hotel.Day 06: Shillong-Cherrapunjee (56kms/2hrs) Breakfast at the hotel. Later, half day sight seeing at Shillong covering Ward's Lake, Lady Hydari Park, local bazaar etc. Later transfer to Cherrapunjee, being world's wettest place. Enroute visit Shillong Peak & Elephant falls. Over night at the resort.Day 07: Cherrapunjee-Guwahati (156 km/4-5 hrs) Breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for sight seeing at Cherrapunjee covering Mawsmai falls & Mawsmai cave, Nohkalikai falls, Thangkharang Park etc. In the afternoon transfer to Guwahati. Enroute visit Barapani Lake. Over night at the hotel.Day 08: Guwahati Breakfast at the hotel. Later full day at Guwahati covering Kamakhya temple, Daul Govinda temple, Aswaklanta, Kanai Boroshi Rock Inscriptions, Navagraha temple, Assam State Museum & Shankardeva Kalakshetra. Over night at the hotel.Day 09 Guwahati-Nameri (215 km/4-5 hrs) Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit Assam Govt. Emporium where you can check Assam's famous handloom & handicraft products. Later transfer to Nameri National Park. Over night at the camp resort.Day 10: Nameri-Dirang (235 km/6hrs) Early morning enjoy river rafting down Jia Bhoroli River which flows by the Nameri National Park. Jia Bhoroli River happens to be one of the white water rafting hotspots in India. Later transfer to Dirang in Arunachal. Over night at hotel Pemaling.Day 11: Dirang-Tawang (145 km/5-6 hrs) Breakfast at the hotel. Later, transfer to Tawang. Enroute visit the magnificent Nuranang falls & Sela Pass near Tawang. Over night at the hotel.Day 12: Tawang Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at Tawang covering Tawang monastery, Urgelling monastery, craft centre, war memorial, local bazaar etc. Over night at the hotel.Day 13: Tawang-Kaziranga (425 km/10-12 hrs) Breakfast at the hotel. Later transfer to the Kaziranga National Park in Assam. Over night at the resort.Day14: Kaziranga-Sivasagar (160 km/3 hrs) Early morning elephant safari for 01 hr followed by jeep safari in the central range of the park. Later after lunch transfer to Sivasagar, the royal seat of Assam's powerful Ahom Kingdom who ruled Assam for 6 centuries before the advent of the British. The Ahoms were successful in protecting Assam from several Mughal invasions. Over night at the hotel.Day 15: Sivasagar Breakfast at the hotel. Later full day in & around Sivasagar visiting Ahom monuments. We shall cover Charaideo Maidam (burial vault of the Ahom royals), Gargaon palace, Talatal ghar, Ranghar, Jaysagar tank, Sivasagar tank & temple. Over night at the hotel.Day 16: Sivasagar-Kohima (270 km/6-7hrs) Breakfast at the hotel. Later transfer to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. Over night at the hotel/lodge.Day 17: Kohima Breakfast at the hotel. Later full day at Kohima covering war cemetery, Museum, emporium, cathedral, kohima village etc. Over night at the hotel/lodge.Day 18: Kohima-Imphal (142 km/4-5 hrs) Transfer to Imphal, the capital of Manipur. After checking into hotel, short sight seeing at Imphal covering Ima Market or Khwairamband bazaar (All women's bazaar). Over night at the hotel.Day 19: Imphal Breakfast at the hotel. Later full day at Imphal covering Govindajee temple, war cemetery, Shaheed Minar, Khonghampat Orchidarium, Church (Mantripukhri) etc. Over night at the hotel.Day 20: Imphal/Destination Breakfast at the hotel. Later check out and transfer to the Airport to board flight for your onwards destination. |
